BBC - Doctor Who - Christopher Eccleston - news story

Ok... so I was a little slow finding out about this... (but thanks to Rob Irwin, who showed me the way).

New Who? Hmmmm.... parts of me are excited and parts of me are not. Should it be a show that remains a part of my childhood? One that I can enjoy again with each new DVD release? Or should it be something that evolves and can have new life? I guess I am still undecided. I draw comfort from the fact that Steven Moffat is writing for the programme (that wonderful creator of two of my favourite tv shows - Press Gang and Coupling).

Well... it worked for Star Trek, it remains to be seen whether it will do the same for the good Doctor...

In the beginning...

So... this is it... after many years of talking about it, I am taking my first real step into the internet. Sure I have been surfing for many years now, but have never got around to setting up my own site.

And this seems like a good way to "test the waters" so to speak.

It's Memorial Day in New York City. I have spent a lazy weekend with Liz, and doing all I can to continue having a sore throat - despite my best attempts to be rid of it.

It's currently raining outside, and what better conditions do I need to start this thing???
