Don't Mess With Texas!

Our new friends, Maggie & Scott. They live just outside of Houston, and were very kind to give us a place to stay for the night.

We didn't get to their place until late, partly because of our tour around NASA, and partly because of the gigantic storm that hit Houston that afternoon. It was bucketing down, and I could barely see the markings on the roads! This did not seem to bother other drivers however...

We had a very nice (short but sweet) two hours talking to Maggie & Scott before we all headed to bed.

Thanks for your kindess in putting us up - we really enjoyed meeting you both, and hope to spend more time with you in the future. If you ever happen to be in London, we would love to return the favour :)

As a post script, the phrase "Don't Mess With Texas" was all over the highways as we drove into state number 15. It started as an anti-litter campaign, and caught the imagination of the Texans...

Hi Mark

I notice you're wearing the same orange shirt 3 days running, is it a favourite of yours?

I've taken your desk and am now sitting besdie Tony, we both send our regards,

Joel.

For the love of God, man... take off that shirt and wash it... RIGHT NOW!

Of course, there is the alternative (and equally scary) universe, where Mark actually owns 3 of these shirts... What the?

You know, we did offer to let you do laundry when you were here. I hope that when we visit you in London you'll have expanded your wardrobe a little.

Hey there gang! I'm just catching up and glad to see that you were able to visit Maggie and Scott while in Houston.

So far looks like you're having a fun trip.

Cheers,
Sarah

ps - I agree with the shirt comments
