Fun At The Beach

Myrtle Beach is a fun tourist town on the South Carolina coast. It has the obligatory Ripley's Believe It Or Not Museum, along with lots of souvenir shops and the largest number of mini golf courses we have ever seen in one place! We saw at least 10 in the area - this has to be the most mini golf courses per capita in the world! We played at the Jungle Lagoon mini golf course which was a lot of fun - plenty of waterfalls, caves and jungle creatures to play around and through. Pictured here is a ride found at the Pavilion - an amusement park right near the water in downtown Myrtle Beach. When we had had our fill of tackiness (good tackiness - take note South Of The Border) we retreated to our campsite at the Myrtle Beach State Park. Our first night of camping - yay! Posted by Hello
